What You’ll Need Legally permitted to work in Canada
Geotechnical Engineering degree
Professional Engineering designation,



or eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in the Northwest Territories
Minimum three years of relevant mining experience from an open pit mining environment (preferred)
Experience with geotechnical software (Deswik, Rocscience, Remining, Maptek) preferred
Robust geotechnical skills and principles in rock mechanics
Experience with geotechnical pit slope monitoring instrumentation (Groundprobe; Navstar)
Ability to manage and communicate in a dynamic, safety-prioritized environment
Ability to simplify complex datasets and present them to stakeholders
Willingness to work in a remote camp setting
Successful completion of background screening, including criminal check and validation of qualifications
