As Mechanical Design Team Lead, you direct assigned team work under the Mechanical Design Manager. You oversee mechanical designs, 3 D models, and drawings for government and naval markets. Your responsibilities span planning, technical quality, mentoring, and delivery against schedule, budget, standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise mechanical engineers and CAD designers
Plan, estimate, assign, and schedule team work
Review designs, models, drawings, and GD&T; before release
Resolve or escalate technical and schedule risks
Mentor members and support process improvements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Seven-plus years in mechanical design
Two-plus years leading teams or serving as technical lead
Advanced Solid Works and GD&T; knowledge
NATO Secret clearance and controlled goods eligibility
