Architect Equinix’s Security Operating System with platform strategy, secure APIs, and automation across enterprise security services. This position is based in Dallas or Toronto.
As an Area Tech Lead, you will own technical strategy and architecture for the Security Operating System. You will guide multiple engineering teams through roadmaps, platform design, and operational readiness. The work spans IAM, application security, endpoints, cloud, data protection, and security telemetry.
Key Responsibilities: Define the Security Operating System technical strategy and roadmap
Design secure, scalable APIs and platform services
Translate requirements into production-ready architecture and code
Coordinate architecture across engineering teams and forums
Drive reliability,



observability, fault tolerance, and SLA compliance
Requirements: Eight-plus years in security or platform engineering
Experience designing RESTful APIs and service architectures
Practical Docker, Kubernetes, gateway, and service mesh expertise
Solid Python, Java, C++, or comparable programming skills
Experience with cloud-native delivery and Dev Sec Ops practices
Lead Equinix security architecture through scalable APIs, platform engineering, automation, and cross-team technical direction in Dallas or Toronto.
