Lead lifting operations for Ontario Transit Group’s Ontario Line project in Downtown Toronto, using rigging expertise and robust site coordination skills.
The Lifting Supervisor oversees lifting activities across the South Civil package. This role plans work involving tower cranes, mobile cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and gantry cranes. You will guide lifting teams, coordinate with rigging personnel, and align activities with site priorities. Safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance remain central to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Plan equipment allocation, materials, scheduling, and team dispatch
Enforce rigging practices, lifting plans, and safety procedures
Coordinate lifting activities across multiple site work fronts
Monitor crane installation, operation,



and equipment readiness
Submit daily reports and equipment inspection documentation
Requirements: Minimum 10+ years within a construction-based lifting department
Valid Appointed Person Certification
Knowledge of Canadian lifting standards and Ontario regulations
Engineering, supervisory, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
