Advance financial planning and analysis at Extendicare’s Markham head office, using advanced Excel in a hybrid working environment. Support budgeting and forecasting. Reporting to the FP&A; Director, this senior analyst processes and analyzes financial data for performance management. The position supports budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and operational decision-making. It requires critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and a willingness to learn the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and strategic commentary
- Partner with operations on financial insights and decisions




- Present concise financial insights to senior leadership
- Improve processes and coach Financial Analysts

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Three to five years in operations finance or accounting
- CPA certification or near completion
- Advanced Excel and solid communication skills
- Enterprise reporting experience; Workday knowledge preferred Use budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis expertise to support Extendicare’s financial performance from Markham.
