Lead structural steel projects at Waiward in Edmonton through fabrication, delivery, and erection, using contract administration and financial control expertise. As Project Manager, you oversee assigned projects from contract award through close-out. You lead cross-functional teams while managing clients, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, risks, and contractual requirements. The position combines project execution, change management, forecasting, reporting, and customer relationship management in structural steel fabrication and heavy construction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead kick-off meetings and align teams on project execution Manage scope changes, Contract Change Notices, and customer approvals Maintain budgets, forecasts, schedules, and financial reporting Monitor costs, productivity, earned value, risks,



and opportunities Coordinate subcontractors, project close-out, documentation, and lessons learned

Requirements:

Minimum five years’ progressive project management experience Structural steel fabrication or heavy construction industry knowledge Contract administration, negotiation, and change management experience Budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and scheduling expertise Project management systems and Microsoft Excel proficiency Bring structural steel execution, financial management, and stakeholder leadership skills to Waiward’s Edmonton-based project portfolio.
