Lead signaling engineering bids and projects for Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto through technical management and multidisciplinary team leadership. This full time hybrid position oversees delivery. The Solution Engineering Manager provides engineering delivery leadership, management decision authority, and technical direction across bids and projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, quality targets, estimates, technical milestones, and engineering deliverables. The role covers system design, customer communication, risk management, and CENELEC-aligned processes for multidisciplinary signaling programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical activities and milestones during signaling bids Consolidate engineering estimates, risks, opportunities,



and assumptions Direct multidisciplinary engineering delivery across project phases Define solution strategies, plans, processes, and applicable tools Coordinate technical certification, interfaces, and engineering corrective actions

Requirements:

Five or more years delivering system-level signaling projects Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams Robust English oral and written communication skills Customer communication and technical management experience College or university graduation; engineering degree preferred Apply signaling engineering leadership, system design, bid management, and CENELEC experience across Hitachi Rail projects in Toronto.
