A General Manager / HVAC General Manager / Home Services General Manager is required to lead sales, operations, and financial performance for a high-volume residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service business in Raleigh, North Carolina.

This General Manager position offers significant operational autonomy, full P&L; responsibility, and the opportunity to drive business growth while developing a solid leadership team. You'll have the support of senior leadership, alongside a performance-based bonus, auto allowance, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) with company match.

The successful General Manager will have a strong background in residential home services, proven B2C sales experience, and the commercial ability to improve revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

The General Manager / HVAC General Manager / Home Services General Manager Role:

Take full responsibility for P&L; performance, budgets, financial forecasting, cost control, and profitability across the business.

Lead daily operations across residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services,



ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Develop and execute strategic business plans to increase revenue, achieve financial targets, and support business expansion.

Lead, recruit, train, and develop departmental managers and operational teams, establishing clear performance expectations.

Drive B2C sales performance, identify commercial opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.

Monitor operational and financial KPIs, using performance data to improve productivity, resource allocation, and business results.

Manage customer escalations, maintain service quality, and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Work closely with senior leadership to implement improvements, manage organizational change, and deliver long-term business objectives.

General Manager / HVAC General Manager / Home Services General Manager Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of management experience, with a proven ability to lead managers and multidisciplinary teams.

At least 3 years of P&L; management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial accountability.

Proven B2C sales experience within the residential home services industry, with a record of delivering revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Experience managing day-to-day service operations, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.

Strong commercial understanding of profitability, cost control, resource management, and business planning.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and manage staff while driving accountability and performance.

Experience implementing operational improvements, managing organizational change, and delivering business growth.

Strong communication, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
