Advance AWS custom silicon through SoC verification, constrained-random simulation, and hardware-software interface coverage in Madrid. Work across high-speed I/O and accelerator components. Amazon’s Custom Silicon organization is developing hardware for AWS data centers, including Inferentia and Trainium systems. As a Design Verification Engineer, you will verify high-speed I/O and scale-up/out components across the SoC. The work spans sub-system, chip, and full-system testing, with close collaboration across design, architecture, and software teams. Key Responsibilities:
Own verification plans for sub-system and chip-level components Build environments using advanced simulation methodologies and tools Create tests covering system flows, critical paths,
and corner cases Drive coverage closure and verification sign-off for tape-out readiness Collaborate on hardware-software interfaces and cross-module functionality Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Four-plus years using constrained-random simulation techniques such as UVM Experience verifying IP blocks, SoCs, and full systems Solid debugging across architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance Python or Perl automation experience with industry-standard tools Apply SoC verification, simulation, debugging, and coverage expertise to Amazon’s custom silicon programs in Madrid.
