Lead daily gym operations at JD Gyms in Chatham, using member service and safety expertise across a flexible club schedule. Support a welcoming experience for every member visit. As Duty Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of this JD Gyms club. You will help maintain operational standards, support colleagues, and contribute to membership and commercial objectives. The position requires experience in leisure, fitness, hospitality, or customer-focused environments, plus Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. Key Responsibilities:
Run daily club operations, including opening and closing duties Complete safety checks and pursue reported building defects Maintain JD Gyms brand, cleanliness, and uniform standards Deliver positive, skilled member interactions Support membership, revenue, and commercial objectives Requirements:
Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or higher Experience leading or supporting colleagues in relevant environments Strong commitment to excellent member service Ability to support, coach, and develop colleagues Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends Bring gym instruction, operational support, safety checking, and member service experience to JD Gyms in Chatham.
