Design highways and municipal roadways at HDR using CAD engineering software, roadway standards, and multidisciplinary coordination. This is a full time transportation engineering position. As a Transportation Engineer, you will support highway and roadway design engineering across complex transportation projects. Your work may include alignments, cross-sections, active transportation, grading, drainage, storm sewer networks, estimates, documentation, and specifications. You will coordinate with structural, traffic, pavement, environmental, stormwater management, and electrical disciplines while supporting project delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare road alignments, cross-sections, grading models, and drainage designs Develop storm sewer layouts, quantity estimates,



and cost estimates Coordinate transportation designs with multidisciplinary project teams Assist project managers with daily project coordination Prepare work plans, schedules, proposals, and fee estimates Requirements:

Minimum seven years of highway or municipal roadway design experience Professional engineering license recognized by the applicable licensing board Experience with roadway engineering design across all aspects Hands-on experience with ConceptStation, OpenRoads Designer, InfraWorks, or Civil 3D Knowledge of TAC and provincial or municipal design standards Apply highway design, roadway engineering, CAD, and coordination expertise to transportation infrastructure projects with HDR.
