Advance applied research and exceptional student learning as KPU’s senior academic officer, connecting polytechnic education with community and workforce relevance. The Provost and Vice President, Academic reports to the President and Vice Chancellor and leads the broader educational mission. This executive role guides academic programs, services, teaching, innovation, governance, faculty relations, and academic resource planning across KPU’s campuses. Key Responsibilities:

Connect academic excellence with applied learning and community relevance Lead Faculties, Schools, teaching, research, innovation, and library services Renew high-quality programs, curricula, and educational services Collaborate with Senate on academic priorities and governance Represent KPU with government, partners,



and community organizations Requirements:

Significant academic leadership as Provost, Vice President, Dean, or equivalent Comprehensive experience across a senior academic portfolio Understanding of applied research in teaching-focused polytechnic education Solid knowledge of pedagogy, educational leadership, and learning technology Exceptional communication, judgment, integrity, and relationship-building skills Bring academic credibility and collaborative leadership to applied research, educational innovation, governance, and KPU’s distinctive polytechnic identity.
