Lead Policy Administration System architecture at Intact through hybrid work, using Java, Angular, cloud platforms, and up-to-date engineering practices. This Principal Software Engineering role owns technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for Personal Lines’ mission-critical PAS. You will modernize a substantial Java platform, integrate Angular and enterprise systems, and create a credible path away from legacy. The mandate includes AI integration, data governance, security, and engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Own target architecture and technical roadmap for scalable PAS modernization Integrate enterprise systems through APIs, microservices, and CI/CD Establish automated testing and high-quality deployment practices Define reliability, performance, user satisfaction,



and delivery metrics Advise executives and negotiate priorities with business partners Requirements:

15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture Experience modernizing mission-critical PAS or comparable systems Deep expertise in system design, integration, and data governance Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Canadian work eligibility required Bring principal-level architecture leadership, Java expertise, and modernization judgment to Intact’s Personal Lines PAS transformation.
