Lead business development strategy and funding diversification for FCM’s Programs and Networks portfolio through a adaptable hybrid work model. As Director, Business Development, you will guide growth across domestic and international programming. You will develop partnerships, funding opportunities, and innovative program concepts. The role requires strategic leadership, proposal development, and municipal network engagement to advance FCM’s priorities. Key Responsibilities:

Lead business development strategies for emerging domestic programming Identify and prioritize funding opportunities aligned with strategic priorities Develop concept notes, business cases, and funding proposals Build partnerships with governments, municipalities,



and institutional stakeholders Supervise, coach, and direct the Business Development Advisor Requirements:

University degree or equivalent education and experience Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience Experience in business development, partnerships, or program design Strong analytical, writing, communication, and negotiation skills Fluency in English and French strongly preferred Bring strategic growth, proposal development, partnership building, and funding diversification expertise to FCM’s national municipal mission.
