Legacy Heating & Cooling is one of Alberta’s fastest-growing residential HVAC contractors. We specialize in high-quality furnace, AC, heat pump, and IAQ installations while delivering a professional, respectful experience in our customers’ homes. We are seeking a Residential HVAC Install Supervisor to lead install crews in the field and ensure every residential installation meets Legacy’s workmanship, safety, and customer service standards.

The Residential HVAC Install Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing residential installation crews, providing technical guidance, maintaining quality control, and ensuring positive homeowner experiences. This role works closely with the Install Manager and acts as the primary field leader for residential installs.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise residential HVAC installation crews in occupied homes

· Ensure furnace, AC, heat pump, and IAQ installs meet company and manufacturer standards

· Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting

· Conduct quality control inspections and final job walk-throughs

· Ensure clean, professional job sites before, during, and after installations

· Coach, train, and mentor installers and apprentices

· Support daily scheduling and efficient job completion

· Address homeowner concerns professionally and promptly





· Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OH&S; requirements

· Report job progress, issues, and crew performance to the Install Manager

Qualifications & Experience

· 3–5 years residential HVAC installation experience

· Previous lead hand or supervisory experience preferred

· Strong technical knowledge of furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, and IAQ products

· Ability to read install scopes, layouts, and manufacturer specifications

· Solid leadership, communication, and customer service skills

· High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

· Valid driver’s license and clean abstract

· Journeyman certification considered an asset

- Retrofit install: 3 years (preferred)
- HVAC Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
