The Opportunity:

As our dealership and repair shop grows, we are seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician who is skilled in diagnosing and fixing heavy duty machinery, has strong mechanical knowledge, and wants to build a long-term career with an established agricultural dealership.

If you are either a Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with at least 3 years of experience or a Heavy Duty Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties/responsibilities include:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of heavy agricultural equipment using computerized diagnostic tools and hands-on testing.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machines such as utility tractors, integrated balers, telehandlers, skid steers, etc.
- Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Assemble and disassemble heavy duty equipment components.
- Repair and replace defective parts/components using hand and power tools.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality.

A qualified candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:

- A Red Seal as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with at least 3 years of experience as a heavy duty mechanic
- Or, have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy duty mechanic.




- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery/farm equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the repair process, including lift up to 75 lbs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial and agricultural equipment is an asset
- Familiarity with electrical systems in heavy equipment
- Experience working with hand tools specific to heavy machinery repairs
- Ability to dig into equipment for maintenance purpose

License/Certification and Experience:

- Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- Red Seal - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with +3 years of experience
- Or, +5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
