Job Summary:

The Senior IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist is responsible for developing, recommending, and managing the enterprise architecture strategy to align IT capabilities with business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, application portfolio management, and leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence to drive transformation and optimize the technology landscape within a federal government context.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategies and deliverables.
- Align strategic objectives with technology resources and business capabilities.
- Define business processes and operationalize business strategies through systems and data.
- Manage application portfolio to streamline landscape, reduce redundancy, and control costs.
- Identify technology risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead enterprise architecture modeling, blueprinting, and governance activities.
- Engage stakeholders through presentations, briefings, and facilitation of meetings.
- Support IT transformation initiatives and change management efforts.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in capability-based enterprise architecture.
- Robust knowledge of Application Architecture, Technology Architecture, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Experience with multiple enterprise architecture frameworks and tools.
- Expertise in Application Portfolio Management and IT governance.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align IT strategy with business vision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication,



and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience working within OPS/Federal government environments.

Desired Skills:
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, including preparing presentations and briefing notes.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with emerging Information and Information Technology (I⁢) trends.
- Experience with modular and composable architecture approaches.
- Ability to lead shared platform design and configuration for large-scale implementations.
