The Hôpital de Mattawa Hospital invites applications for the full-time position of Corporate Services Manager to join its management team.

About Us: Our 19-bed bilingual Hospital is located in the town of Mattawa, Ontario. Summary of Role: As a key member of the management team, the Corporate Services Manager will be responsible for the financial and operational management of the Hospital, and will provide leadership and corporate expertise through the oversight of several departments such as Finance, Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Information Technology, and Information Management. The Hospital provides management services to the Algonquin Nursing Home; this position will support both organizations.

The Corporate Services Manager will demonstrate leadership practices through the development and fostering of strong relationships with internal employees and community partners, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, establishing and reviewing goals, objectives, and standards, and assessing and responding to daily operational concerns while promoting a culture of quality and safety. This role is expected to participate in the “Management on Call” rotation.

This position has been created to prepare the successful candidate for the future role of Vice-President Corporate Services / Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Business, Financial Accounting,



or related field;
- Financial Accounting Designation (CPA or CA) in valuable standing;
- 3 to 5 years' management experience in health care, or related field;
- Proven leadership experience, including team coaching, mentorship, and performance management in health care, or related field;
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Bilingual in English and French;
- Criminal Reference Check - Vulnerable Sector, required;
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The requirement that the successful applicants be fully vaccinated is subject to any accommodation obligations pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code .
