Position: Part-time Kinesiologist

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-time Kinesiologist to join our esteemed team in Kelowna. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment, providing comprehensive care to individuals recovering from concussions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess client's musculoskeletal and neurological capabilities
- Develop and carry out individualized rehabilitation plans for injured clients
- Collaborate with clinic teammates (e.g., Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists) to provide comprehensive treatment plans
- Advocate for patient care to 3rd party stakeholders
- Organize community health initiatives
- Support clinic operations as needed with medical communication, booking, and reception

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology
- Membership to British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
- 1 year of experience in kinesiology or with a brain injury population (preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply)




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively with clients of varying ages and diverse issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (preferred)
