We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide full stack technical leadership and mentorship in the areas of cloud native architecture, software design and implementation for our SaaS platform. We are looking for someone who brings a wealth of experience to the table but leaves opinions at the door, a builder, a visionary, a mentor, someone who knows when to step back and when to jump in.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You'll work with a talented team of developers, designers, quality analysts, and product managers to build scalable and resilient systems, mentor developers, and implement features from cloud backends to mobile frontends using cutting-edge technologies. Act as a technical leader of the development team making critical decisions related to architecture and technical design. You will become an expert on our codebase, define coding patterns and standards you want followed and aid developers to achieve them.

WHAT YOU BRING

- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).




- 10+ years full stack experience with emphasis on APIs and cloud native architectures.
- Proven experience building microservices using enterprise integration patterns.
- Proficiency in Typescript, Angular, Nodejs, Capacitor, Ionic, Mongo, Dynamo and AWS.
- Strong understanding of secure software development and system performance.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a curious and quality oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring and technical leadership.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities are essential.
- Experience balancing simplicity with technical debt while designing new features
- Approaches software development with a constructive, enthusiastic & engaging attitude.
- Knowledge, forged from experience, about the right and wrong ways to build software.
- Excels under the pressures typically associated with a technology startup.
- Knowledge of construction industry workflows or related applications would be an asset.
