Retail Security Guard – Full-Time, & Part-Time Opportunities !
Retail Security Guard to join our team in Surrey, BC .
In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure retail environment by conducting patrols, monitoring activities, preventing theft, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service to employees, customers, and visitors.
Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.00 per hour
Shift Time: 0800h - 1600h & 1600h - 0000h
Patrol the retail property to deter theft, suspicious activity, and security incidents.
Monitor customer and employee activity to help maintain a safe environment.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
Identify, document, and report suspicious behaviour, policy violations,



and other incidents.
Assist with access control and enforce site-specific security procedures.
Communicate effectively with store management, customers, visitors, and emergency responders.
Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Solid customer service skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work the required schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
