New Flyer is North America's heavy-duty transit bus leader and offers the most advanced product line under the Xcelsior and Xcelsior CHARGE brands. The successful candidate will support the ongoing optimization of financial processes and reporting to help the organization effectively navigate the evolving tariff landscape. This role will contribute to the monthly financial close process, analyze and improve reporting, and participate in special projects that enhance operational efficiency and support informed business decision-making. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate across teams, drive process improvements, and adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement streamlined processes, with a focus on data collection, reporting accuracy, and automation.
Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for external audits.
Assist with the monthly financial close process, including monitoring account activity, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Prepare and analyze ad hoc tariff-related reports and requests to support business operations, customer requirements, and cross-functional decision-making.




Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
University degree or equivalent education in finance.

- Proficiency in Power Query and Power BI considered an asset
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials considered an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a demonstrated ability to learn current systems
