Contributes to the overall success of the Cryptography Product / Cryptography Product and Engineering in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Contribute the product strategy, including vendor recommendation, contract management, MVP and rollout plan.
Contribute to business cases based on the roadmap and priority, aligns with Technology, PMO, and Finance teams on the funding required, cost and benefit analysis, and cost allocation model.
Track overall product status, metrics, key achievements, next steps and risks with a data-driven approach.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

- Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. The same in Spanish is a strong asset.
- 3+ years' functional knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- 3+ years' knowledge of API or other methods of software integration.
- 3+ years' experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.




- 2+ years' experience in working with Regulatory, Compliance, Risk and Audit functions.
- 2+ years of vendor and/or contract management experience.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and tools is an asset.
- Experience maintaining a product roadmap near and long-term vision.
- Hands on coding or integration experience are an asset.
- CISSP, CCSP, or CISM is an asset
