Responsibilities

Build and maintain Alpaca Connect frontends in TypeScript and React with supporting Go services.

Improve application onboarding, testing, compliance review, approval, publishing, and management workflows.

Convert manual support and compliance processes into clear, auditable self-service workflows.

Design APIs and integrations across identity, account, trading, and market data systems.

Own features from design through production and contribute to the team’s technical direction.

Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, Support, Partnerships, and Platform teams.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience building production full-stack applications.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills.
- Experience with Go or another up-to-date backend language.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably PostgreSQL.




- Experience designing REST APIs and integrating distributed services.
- Experience with OAuth, OIDC, or similar authorization systems.
- Track record of delivering secure, user-facing features end to end.
- Clear communication and sound judgment when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
- Preferred experience with developer platforms, partner portals, marketplaces, compliance or operational workflows, financial markets, brokerage systems, market data, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, production observability, startups, or distributed remote teams.
