The Opportunity As a Lifestyle and Programs Supervisor at Chartwell, reporting to the Lifestyle and Programs Manager, you’ll coordinate the day-to-day delivery of meaningful programs that reflect residents’ interests and the six dimensions of wellness. You’ll work directly with residents while guiding activity aides and volunteers, supporting safe program delivery, and helping the Manager maintain an engaging calendar.
Prepare program calendars, newsletters, events, outings, and resident communications

- Build resident relationships, respond to concerns, and escalate significant issues
- Coordinate volunteers and community partners to expand program opportunities
- Monitor program safety, participation, quality, risks, and improvement opportunities

Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology,



social work, or relevant experience

- One to three years of experience in retirement living, long-term care, or healthcare
- Understanding of aging and respect for residents’ backgrounds, interests, and abilities
- Robust planning, communication, service, computer, and community-relations skills
