Our client is an exciting Technology startup located in Toronto and they are looking for a Director of Finance & Operations. Own the Budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, financial reporting, and controls.

Oversight of bookkeeping, payroll, payables, receivables, tax, audit, insurance, and regulatory obligations.

Development of financial and operational foundations used to launch new ventures.

The design and continuous improvement of internal workflows and services.

The identification and implementation of helpful automation and AI-enabled tools.

A CPA designation along with experience in a startup, venture studio, professionalservices organization, investment environment, or multi-entity business

Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cash management, reporting, accounting operations, and financial controls.

Experience defining and overseeing work performed by employees, contractors, and professional-services firms.

An entrepreneurial mindset: you actively find opportunities, test better approaches, and carry improvements through to completion.
