The Rink Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of municipal ice rinks. This role involves maintaining the ice surface, monitoring rink activities, enforcing facility rules, and providing excellent customer service to patrons. Monitor ice rink activities to ensure the safety of all patrons, enforcing facility rules and regulations as needed.
Set up and take down equipment for recreational programs, events, and rentals, including hockey nets and rink dividers.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, addressing concerns, and promoting secure rink practices.
Support special events,



tournaments, and public skating sessions by ensuring proper setup and monitoring activities.
Basic knowledge of ice resurfacing, maintenance techniques, and rink operations.
Customer Service: Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to monitor ice conditions and ensure facility safety.
Work hours vary, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required based on rink schedules and events.
