Key Responsibilities:

Build daily features and capabilities for distributed systems

Review code using reliability and documentation best practices

Monitor high-performing backend services and report errors

Participate in Agile software development activities

Requirements:

Three or more years developing backend applications

Experience with scalable, performant RESTful microservices

Fluency in one database technology, relational or NoSQL

Hands-on experience with AWS, GAE, or Azure

Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and quality engineering

Use scalable microservices, backend development, databases, and cloud architecture to improve Atlassian engineering teams’ services.
