The Senior Qualitative Insight Director acts as a solo Strategist or Coach, making most project decisions across research design, execution, analysis, and deliverables. You will translate participant conversations into themes, implications, recommendations, and visual stories. You will also deepen client relationships, mentor teammates, and strengthen strategic expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft questionnaires and discussion guides for study objectives
Facilitate conversations across topics and participant types
Identify themes and connect them to larger narratives
Write explicit reports with implications and recommendations
Represent MERGE in external-facing settings
Requirements:
Seven-plus years in market research or agency settings
Experience moderating and delivering excellent client deliverables
Ability to coach teammates and teach continuously
Flexibility for travel and project scheduling needs
Compliance with time-tracking and required guidelines
Use moderation, qualitative analysis, and strategic communication to help MERGE deliver meaningful client insight.
