Perform phlebotomy and patient specimen collection as a casual Lab Patient Technician with LifeLabs. Adaptable availability supports shifts based on operational needs.

As a Lab Patient Technician, you will support patient care through specimen collection and preparation. You will greet patients, explain test protocols, complete ECG tracings, and connect or disconnect Holter monitors. The position also involves data entry, client service,



and documentation for special collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and verify required information
• Explain protocols before collecting patient specimens
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings
• Complete special test collections and documentation
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:

• Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
• Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Computer skills and typing speed of 40 wpm
• Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
