As an Assistant Store Manager, you support store performance and team success when the Store Manager is absent. You manage associates through training, goals, scheduling, and follow-up. You also lead selling strategies, resolve customer concerns, maintain merchandising standards, and execute store operations. Lids offers licensed headwear and apparel from teams and brands including Nike, New Era, Champion,



and Mitchell & Ness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as manager on duty during the Store Manager’s absence
• Train associates and follow up on sales and task goals
• Lead selling strategies to achieve sales targets and key indicators
• Resolve customer feedback, escalations, and urgent requests
• Open and close the store according to procedures

Requirements:

• Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
• Strong professional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate computers and mobile point-of-sale systems
