Support donation sorting and retail operations at The Salvation Army’s Toronto location, with onsite, permanent part time work at 1219 Bloor Street West.

This Union Store Associate position helps maintain merchandise flow in a Thrift Store. You will receive, sort, price, and store donations while supporting customer service and sales. The work also includes recycling unsold items, replenishing stock, and following quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and sort donations according to quality standards
- Handle, price, and store donated merchandise appropriately
- Prepare unsold items for recycling when appropriate
- Replenish merchandise and assist with inventory control
- Follow secure stock handling procedures

Requirements:

- Some high school completion
- Up to three months of related experience
- Ability to follow OH&S; requirements and safety policies
- Care and responsibility when handling organizational property
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
