Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Millwright is responsible for safely executing various millwrighting duties throughout the facility.Job DutiesPerform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate logsMachine troubleshooting, repairing, assembly, dismantling equipment as required and in-line with manufactures specifications and recommended standardsResponsible for installation, adjustment, and maintenance of mechanical machines and equipment on siteAbility to safely operate hoisting and lifting devicesInspect and examine machinery to detect irregularitiesCommunication any failures, unsafe conditions, or wear/damaged equipment found to the Operations Manager and/or recommend equipment changesMaintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and ensuring safety policies and practices are adhered to.Comply with safety rules; report all accidents,



incidents and potential hazards immediately.RequirementsJourneyman Red Seal Millwright certificate is requiredAt least 10 years of experience in a supervisory or lead-hand role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in preventative maintenance (PM), machinery troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical breakdowns. Sewing machines maintenance experience is a significant asset.Assembling and disassembling mechanical equipment and machineryExperience operating heavy-duty machineryExperience in a construction or manufacturing setting is requiredAbility to work autonomously, and as part of a teamAble to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to red, write, and communicate effectivelyWork ConditionsWarehouse setting, Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm#J-18808-Ljbffr
