Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a child with autism in a private household. The caregiver will assist with daily care, ensure safety, and support developmental and behavioural needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide continuous one-on-one supervision to ensure safety
- Assist with feeding, hygiene,



and toileting
- Support structured routines and developmental activities
- Monitor and manage elopement and safety risks
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Accompany child to appointments or outings if required

Employment Requirements

- Secondary school (high school diploma)
- Caregiving certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting children with autism or special needs
- First Aid/CPR is an asset
- Ability to work independently

Language Requirements

- English (required)
- Swahili (asset)
