Practice hospital pharmacy at University of Alberta Hospital and Stollery Children’s Hospital, using medication management and clinical assessment skills. This regular full time position includes rotating shifts.

As a Pharmacist I with Alberta Health Services, you will support safe, effective, and appropriate medication use. You will manage therapy, assess drug-related issues, and optimize therapeutic outcomes. The work involves interdisciplinary collaboration, patient rounds, and individualized care for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients for medication-related issues
- Develop comprehensive medication management plans
- Review and verify medication orders
- Participate in patient care rounds




- Oversee pharmaceutical compounding and packaging activities

Requirements:

- Entry-to-practice Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree
- Current, provisional, or transferable Alberta pharmacist registration
- Computerized medication order entry experience
- Effective English communication and patient confidentiality
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
