Lead stakeholder engagement and partnerships for Alberta Energy and Minerals in Calgary, supporting market access and responsible resource development.

As Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership for engagement, partnerships, and cross-cutting initiatives. Reporting to the COO/ADM, Strategy and Market Access, you will advise senior leadership, identify emerging issues, and coordinate expertise across government. Your work will advance Alberta’s interests and shared priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build trusted relationships with governments, industry, and key partners
- Identify stakeholder issues, opportunities, and risks
- Provide practical advice and timely perspectives to senior leadership
- Support ministerial missions, meetings, and departmental initiatives




- Advance commercial opportunities and market-access objectives

Requirements:

- Extensive senior management experience in complex organizations
- Understanding of oil and gas, mining, and public policy
- Experience with operational and business planning
- Financial acumen involving budgeting, grants, or financial planning
- Experience leading staff, partnerships, and multidisciplinary teams
