Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.Key AccountabilitiesVacuums hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areas including the pool and fitness roomCleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, linen rooms, signs, sconces, stairwells, do orframes, public telephones,



etc.Transports clean and soiled linens to and from guest floorsDelivers housekeeping items to rooms as requestedMaintains all housekeeping storage areasRotates mattressesPolishes ch rome and other materials requiring special careCleans offices at the hotel and other buildingsLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates solid working relation ships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsBilingual (English/French) is an asset but not requiredPerform other duties as assignedEducation And QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMinimum 1 year housekeeping/janitorial experienceFood Safety CertificationAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment ConsiderationsStanding or walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, cleaning, some exposure to heat and cold, some exposure to smoke, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hoursGreat Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to join our team of unique contributors.
