Serve customers and process donations as a part time Thrift Store Associate at The Salvation Army in Peterborough, Ontario.

This permanent part time position supports ongoing retail operations at 81 George Street North. You will provide customer service, handle cash transactions, sort donated goods, and replenish merchandise. The role reports to the Store Manager and includes weekdays and/or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and donors courteously
- Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
- Sort, price, hang, and store donations
- Replenish sales floor inventory and maintain displays
- Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and security

Requirements:

- Completion of some high school coursework
- A few months of customer service or goods processing experience
- Cash handling and cash register experience required
- Positive oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
