Use sewing and creative detail as a Costume Creator with Trickster Theatre in Calgary, working partly onsite and partly remotely.

This summer position involves creating costume pieces and class sets for student programs. The successful candidate will make simple, robust, effective head gear, repair existing props, costumes, and curtains, and source costumes and props. Some designs are provided, while others are newly created.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create animal bonnets and lizard head pieces
- Make robust, effective class sets for students
- Repair existing props, costumes, and curtains
- Source costumes and props for productions
- Work partly onsite and partly remotely

Requirements:

- Outstanding skills using a sewing machine
- Great skills using a glue gun
- Creative eye for detail
- Must be 30 years old or younger
- Availability for eight weeks at 35 hours weekly
