The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.Here's where you'll have an impact:Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiativesDemonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of policies and proceduresKeep work area clean, protected, and presentable alwaysDemonstrate product knowledge; remain aware of productchanges and seasonal requirementsComplete department temperature checks and date checks as required.Update department inventory counts as required.Work with Production and Replenishment Teams to identify and resolve inventory issues.Collect and file all floor,



sanitation and equipment logs from each department.Collect and and verify DSD invoices daily.Complete storewide FIM spot checks and scan out department waste as required.Complete HR scheduling tasks as required.Use appropriate computer applications and pricing program, ensuring pricing data is inputted and that prince changes are activated.Ensure accurate verification of shelf tags to computer file, warehouse prices, and detail order booksEnsure shelf labels, signage, and displays are created and displayed to company standardsEnsure various item reports are prepared and forwarded to appropriate departmentsTrain junior staff, as requiredWhat you bring to the table:Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbove average communication skills (oral and written)Demonstrated initiative and motivation with a commitment to teamworkProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAn ability to understand and implement Store Operating Procedures (SOPs)Previous experience working in a grocery store environment is considered an assetMay be required to lift to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work including but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching
