Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre is preparing to operate its Warming Centre during the upcoming cold-weather season. This unionized Cleaner maintains shelter spaces, washrooms, shared areas, and supplies. The work also includes front-line support and responding to changing operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete daily and scheduled cleaning of shelter spaces
- Clean washrooms and shared areas throughout the Centre
- Remove waste and dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost safely
- Monitor maintenance issues and report them to the Manager
- Respond to spills and other cleaning needs

Requirements:

- Experience in maintenance and cleaning
- Understanding of W.H.M.I.S., fire safety, and universal precautions
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding, variable conditions
- Respect for working with vulnerable populations
