This full-time learning resource teacher supports students with complex support needs in a small learning environment. The position focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized educational programs. It also addresses behavioural challenges, communication, self-regulation, social/emotional development, and foundational academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan individualized educational programs for ALC students
- Implement and evaluate education and behaviour plans
- Develop employee safety plans when appropriate
- Collaborate with school-based teams and specialized staff




- Build positive relationships with parents and staff

Requirements:

- Fully qualified learning resource teacher
- Recent relevant experience supporting complex student needs
- Experience addressing behavioural challenges
- Competence in case management and effective scheduling
- Ministry of Education and Childcare certification
