Role Overview The Senior Elastic Engineer leads the design, optimization, and strategic evolution of Elastic environments that support advanced security and observability use cases. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, with responsibility for scalability, resilience, platform standards, and complex solution design across enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and continuous improvement of enterprise Elastic environmentsDefine and enforce best practices for scalability, resilience, lifecycle management, and operational excellenceSupport andoptimizeplatform strategy for high availability, retention, performance, and cost efficiencyLead root cause analysis and resolution of complexplatform,pipeline, and data issuesDesign and govern ingestion pipelines, data models, and normalization standards aligned to ECSBuild andoptimizeadvanced Logstash and ingest pipelines for high-volume and diverse data sourcesLead large-scale Elastic Agent and Fleet deployments with solid operational standards for endpoint and observability use casesDrive integration of diverse security and observability telemetry sources with high data qualityDesign andoptimize AWS-backed Elastic infrastructure, including S3, compute, networking, IAM, and related cloud servicesDesign production grade CI/CD pipelines.Leverage AWS services for snapshot strategy, retention, archival, and broader platform operationsMonitor andoptimizecost drivers across compute, storage, ingestion,



and retentionAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-codeDesign advanced Kibana dashboards, detection workflows, observability views, and executive reportingPartner with detection engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams to define requirements and roadmap prioritiesIdentifyopportunities to improve detection coverage, platform reliability, and observability maturityMentor engineers, review technical designs, and contribute to platform roadmap planningElastic Certified EngineerElastic Certified Observability Engineer5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise Elastic environmentsStrong experience with Elastic Security and Elastic ObservabilityExpert-level knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, including indexing, sharding, replication, search, and query performanceExpertisein Elasticsearch template optimization and relevancefine-tuning.Proven experienceoperatinglarge,highly available Elasticsearch clusters in productionDeepexpertisein capacity planning, cluster optimization, scaling, and platform hardeningAdvancedproficiencyin Elasticsearch Query DSL and search optimizationStrong programming and automation skills in Python, Java, Ruby, or similar languagesProven cybersecurity background with experience in threat detection, attack techniques, telemetry,
