Support Winnipeg Health Region food services as an in-person Diet Aide using food service experience and a valid Food Handler’s certificate. This 0.50 FTE term position starts January 15, 2027.

The Diet Aide position supports health care services within the Winnipeg Health Region’s integrated network. Previous food service experience is required, while an education and experience combination may be considered. Effective English communication, instruction-following, manual dexterity, and adaptability are essential for this work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow oral and written instructions effectively
- Adapt accurately to changing tasks

- Use manual dexterity with both hands

Requirements:

- Previous experience in food service
- Valid Food Handler’s certificate
- Effective English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Ability to handle 20 to 45 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, grip, lift, push, and pull
