Handle customer transactions and donated merchandise as a part time Store Associate at The Salvation Army’s 4025 Innes Road location.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this position contributes to sales targets and daily thrift store operations. Duties include customer service, cash and debit sales, donation turnover, inventory control, and store presentation. Experience with cash registers, computerized environments, and product processing supports success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accurate cash and debit sales
- Follow policies for refunds, voids, holds, and cheques
- Assist donors with unloading contributions
- Retrieve, sort, price, and rotate inventory
- Support opening, closing, displays, and tidy maintenance

Requirements:

- Cash handling experience is required
- Experience with registers and related procedures
- Experience processing or distributing goods is helpful
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Successful applicable screening and background checks
