This Client Care Worker position serves specialized care units across the Ottawa Inner City Health network. You will support clients facing physical, mental health, and substance-use-related needs within shelters and supportive housing. Carefor provides ongoing career development, onboarding, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility,
  
  
  
  and transfers
• Administer and document medications according to MAR requirements
• Monitor vital signs and report client condition changes
• Provide emotional support and promote client well-being
• Support harm reduction strategies and multidisciplinary care planning

Requirements:

• Personal Support Worker or Developmental Service Worker certificate essential
• Internationally Educated Nurse or second-year nursing student accepted
• Clear vulnerable sector police check essential
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with complex medical, mental health, or substance-use needs valued
