Represent nonprofit campaigns across Halifax as a face-to-face Fundraiser, sharing humanitarian and social justice causes with the public. Paid training supports your development.

Public Outreach is seeking outgoing, compassionate, and motivated fundraisers for outdoor community outreach. You will help people understand how monthly donations support nonprofit programs, while developing communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. Full time and part-time schedules require at least three complete shifts weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Connect with community members throughout Halifax
- Discuss humanitarian relief and environmental protection campaigns
- Explain the impact of ongoing nonprofit donations
- Encourage long-term monthly donor commitments




- Walk between outreach locations and residential neighbourhoods

Requirements:

- Care about humanitarian issues, social justice, or positive change
- Enjoy meeting people and meaningful conversations
- Remain respectful, positive, and motivated after rejection
- Work outdoors through rain, cold, and warmer temperatures
- Commit to three full eight-hour shifts weekly
