Under the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I completes varied warehouse functions during Tuesday-to-Friday shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Duties may include forklift operation, loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting. The position also involves product auditing, staging, truck loading, warehouse paperwork, and support for an automated packing system. Ryder provides integrated transportation, logistics, and supply chain management solutions, with more than 800 locations and over 40,000 employees across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform warehouse functions according to contract performance guidelines
- Complete accurate picking, packing, auditing, and product staging




- Load and unload trucks and manage tote induction
- Handle warehouse paperwork including returns and shipping documents
- Provide automated packing system support during production hours

Requirements:

- Related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Forklift operator license certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate, thorough, dependable, and detail-oriented work habits
- Availability for the stated overnight schedule and versatile shifts
