Job Summary
Prepare ingredients and support meal preparation while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
Assist with serving and general food service tasks as needed.
Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and keep dishwashing and food-preparation areas sanitary.
Follow established food safety and food-handling practices throughout each shift.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to help ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Duties
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
Clean and maintain dishwashing stations, counters, floors, and other kitchen areas.
Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.
Support cooking and meal preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
Help prepare and replenish items for service and assist with serving when needed.
Store food and supplies properly, label items as required, and help rotate stock.
Follow food safety, sanitation,



and protected equipment-use procedures.
Communicate with team members about supply needs, equipment issues, and kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications
Previous food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or other food industry experience is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, serving, food handling, and food safety is an asset.
Ability to follow instructions and sanitation procedures carefully.
Dependable, organized, and able to work cooperatively in a rapid-paced kitchen.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
