Candidates are invited to apply for the above position to work at Hanover Care Centre, a 30 bed long-term care facility and 45 bed assisted living Lodge, located in Hanover, ON.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
Safe storage and handling of food.
Receiving food supplies
Working with regular and therapeutic menus
Working with production sheets
Able to follow established policies, procedures and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least one of the following:
Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act required. If enrolled, must complete program within three (3) years of hire date.
Secure Food Handlers Certificate
Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC Home.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time




Ability to read and write English as well as to understand easy verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
Successful candidate must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
Successful candidate must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of status
Applicant must be available for call in shifts.

Pay: From $24.81 per hour
